Photo guide
What to photograph
Good photos speed up your assessment significantly. Here's what our assessors need to see:
- Wide shot showing the full outdoor unit and its location (roof, wall bracket, ground)
- Close-up of visible damage — dents, cracks, bent fins, burnt components
- Indoor unit (evaporator) — any water damage, staining, or physical damage
- Copper piping and insulation — especially if theft or vandalism is involved
- Serial number / model label on both indoor and outdoor units
- Surrounding area showing context — hail damage to roof, broken windows, etc.
Need a site visit?
For complex claims or when photographic evidence is insufficient, our assessors can visit your site anywhere in South Africa.
